Excellent article ! Because of my own fear of not being 'able' enough to homeschool our children, God led us on the way of unschooling, which is basically what is written above: Tools, not tests. I'm ever so grateful for this, for now God's little children whom are placed in our care on earth, won't be crippled by humanistic ideas of what, when, and how they 'should' learn unnecessary stuff. Now I can pray to God to guide me in the process of preparing our children for their own lives, rather than expecting other people to hopefully bash enough 'knowledge' into our childrens' heads to hopefully make them earn more money when they start a 'prestige' job. The focus must be on their God given talents and not on human ideas of what 'should be'. They should become what God created them to love, in a way God created them to naturally learn.
