I have a beautiful 3-month old daughter and for some reason I feel the need to have her "help" me with things. I want her to know how to do things and I figured that I'm not just going to wake up one day in a few years and say, "okay, now she's old enough to learn". So I explain to her what we're doing all the time. I just think she'll catch some things by osmosis for now-LOL. She is so smart and happy. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with a sweet baby and I don't want to waste it. This is a great article! People laugh when I tell them that my 17 month old daughter helps me put the dishes away, but she really does and she is SO proud to help mama!
