		<description>Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have had this same problem with my family and they are so called Christians! They use the Bible to support their twisted family ideals. They tell me that I must earn their respect but that no matter what they do or how they treat me and my husband that I must show them respect. Their idea of respect is us doing whatever they ask whenever they ask. We have finally cut them off from our lives, and this article helped me deal with the guilt of having &quot;not&quot; honored my parents. Thank you thank you thank you.

Yes, honor your parents as you say (and as God commands), but NEVER confuse blind obedience with honor.  God bless you!</description>
