However, this article leads me to believe that if my husband and I had been perfect, that all of my children would be totally loyal to God and to me. I suppose that could be true, but God was/is perfect and Adam "jumped ship." Sin and rebellion can ruin any family, and any child can magnify the failures of the best of parents and thus justify rebelling. I just feel sorry for any parent who has experienced this...who is already beating him/herself over the head with his/her mistakes.
