Mr. Pearl:

I believe that you are correct when teaching on the issue of child rearing. I think that it is unfortunate that some people have taken your words out of context. The Biblical methods that you have laid out are quite helpful, and again I am thankful for your ministry. As far as your thoughts on Total depravity, I think that you are right to promote the Biblical idea of the freewill of man. But, from my studies, I see that it is also true that God's freedom precedes ours. So, in another sense we are totally dead in our trespasses and sins and must have Jesus come and say to us like he did Lazarus: "come forth!" So in response to His grace, we go to Him. I think that is what the T in the acronym TULIP is referring to. You probably know this, but the TULIP wasn't created by Calvin, it was a response at the Council of Dort to the 5 points of Arminianism many years after John Calvin. I find the TULIP helpful, but like you, the Bible is my final authority. Thanks again.

It is my humble opinion that you should name your critic and source where the accusations can be affirmed. Likewise, if they are going to accuse you, it would be wise for them to cite page numbers and exact audio recordings. I'm sorry you've been cited falsely. That is a terrible feeling. I'm curious, how would you recommend someone question your teachings?

Hello Mike, you may remember me. I would like to thank you for the help and yes insperation you gave me in my time of need. The one thing you taught me was we all have a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. So critics should look unto themselves and not past judgment on others.

The critical person who put in print his criticisms should indeed have had brought his questions of concern to you Michael, not blast you as he did in print. It is common courtesy but first of all the Christian action toward another Brother. With all the sins committed on a child sexually, if parents followed basic principles taught in the scriptures as Michael and Debi Pearl have brought forth in the power of The Holy Spirit to teach and inform us, there wouldn't be as many of these attacks on children nor would there be so blatant an attack on your ministry's integrity! Our love and prayers for you and Debi, Michael, and "keep on keeping on" in the power and the love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our righteousness!BJ

I have personally been blessed by Michael Pearl and his family. The Lord brought his ministry into my life when I was quite baffled as to how to approach teaching my children to love, honor and respect God and others. I found the many articles written by Michael Pearl and his children, who are the fruit of living what he writes, a valuable asset in my daily walk with God. Very seldom in our churches are ministers telling Christian parents how to relate to one another or how to raise our children "in the way that they should go". Most ministers are too busy teaching a prosperity gospel so they can build bigger churches and add-on programs that aren't really beneficial to the body of Christ. The Pearl family has blessed my family and countless others with their ministry and I personally thank God for their being a light in this very dark world. Keep being the servant of the Most High God Michael Pearl.Your living by faith is not in vain. May God continue to bless and keep you and your family and expanding your ministry.
