Dear NGJ,
Just finished reading the article about Noah's wife... Wow. I am nineteen years old and have been in church all of my life. Never before have I read something talking about Noah's wife, and what an obviously amazing helpmeet she was. From what i have seen, every "truly" successful man has a gracious helpmeet somewhere in the shadows cheering him on and helping him as best she can. Noah's wife obviously did both. For every day Noah built the ark, Noah's wife was somewhere else preparing the things they would need to survive the flood. Its interesting to note that, while they may not have been working directly together during the time of construction, they were definitely working toward a common goal. And that goal was essentially to please God. They were pleasing God which in turn saved their lives. Its important for young women like me to learn what Noah's wife could obviously teach: a good lesson on following your man as he follows God. Seriously, what would it have been like to be married to "Crazy Noah"? Goodness knows all of the people that were around Mrs. Noah thought her husband was the "village idiot". He was expecting a flood when there had never been rain! Yet, she allowed the One who "Giveth more grace" to guide her as she faithfully followed her husband, who was in the perfect will of God despite public criticism. What a valuable lesson to those married, and to those who will be one day. Thank you for having such insightful, instructional, and encouraging articles here on the website :)

Thanks for the great article. I really needed to read this and be encouraged right now. I can't wait for my newest adventure with my husband and children as we pack up and move to a new home.

Thank you. Right now i am unable to sleep at 4am, worried about my husbands "far-out" career ideas which is giving him much leisure time and not much money. Im 39 weeks pregnant with my firist and have been so emotional about this. Reading artical puts my mind at rest, life is not a trial if i have faith. I'll pray and be able to sleep now :)
