I was disappointing that the question was never answered. At the beginning of the video Michael Pearl was holding his Bible but even before the end of the question about what the Bible say about CCM, he put his Bible down and never picked it back up again the rest of the video. Over and over again during the video he gave us his own personal opinions (not Biblical findings), and at the end even says it is his own personal view.

If you have a great video that truly supports by fact and Biblical findings (not personal opinions) that most CCM is bad, I would love to see it!

To Todd Barker,
I do not believe there was any genetic modification taking lace with Jacob's sticks. He ringstraked the sticks. That means he tried to make them spotted and ringstraked with the superstition that it would produce spotted animals. Before his encounter with God, Jacob was always conniving for a means of getting ahead. Later God explained to Jacob why the cattle all bore spotted young ones. It was because God saw Laban's dishonesty toward Jacob, so He made sure that all the breeding was done with the spotted males. It had NOTHING to do with Jacob's conniving.

The tampering of food as a whole has had a profound negative health impact and I appreciate you having the courage to speak out about it, once again going against the grain of what is "popular".

A perfect example of what was once called a healthy and safe modification to our food is trans fats. The industry is now back peddling on this, but these are the same ones who ignorantly and arrogantly touted this process as safe and even "natural". While is true that a type of trans fat occurs naturally in the milk and body fat of ruminants (such as cattle and sheep) at a level of 2

My husband and I were shocked when we read this article. Can anyone help us make this any easier? What CAN we eat other than organic food?

I agree with Mr. Pearl, and I agree with Jeremy. I don't think all music that is labeled Christian is really pleasing to God, but just because a song is labeled Christian rock or pop or even rap doesn't mean it has the same sound as a song in that genre produced by secular artists. I have been greatly blessed througout my life by some contemporary Christian music. If a secular artist can produce a song that has a good message and good sound to match, and yet it is not "Christian", such as the music from "The Sound of Music," or even a song like "Don't Worry, Be Happy," then why limit Christian music to the style you think is best? God LOVES variety!!! He does use music of many different styles to reach people and minister His grace to them, and bring them to a place of beautiful worship! You can hear whatever style you are interested in on Pandora.com (free internet radio) - try creating a station based on Kari Jobe or Paul Baloche, or Casting Crowns, or Natalie Grant, I could go on and on...
Or you can find a specific song on YouTube. God is really blessing many people through the wonderful technology of the internet! I'm blessed to be able to hear great music that keeps my focus on God during the day while I do my chores and homeschool my kids, and also learn from great Bible teachers like you, Mr. Pearl! God bless you!

Psalms 150 kjv
states:Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him witht the timbrels and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord.

Psalms 150 (NIV)Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord

If God put it in the bible to use tambourines, loud cymbals and dancing, then I think maybe there is a place for every kind of music (even the ones some may not prefer).

Music has the ability to be redeemed. Listening to the rap you describe doesn't sound like it would be edifying to the soul at all. Listening to a rap artist like Lecrae (rapped at John Piper's church numerous times) or Tedashii creates a totally different experience. It challenges me constantly, and brings to light sin in my life to repent from. The same goes for rock. The bands Gungor, Needtobreathe and Josh Garrels all seek to encourage the listener into a closer relationship with the God of all creation.

One of my friends shared this video with me last week. I hope it helps clarify and perhaps shock people into speaking out about GMO.
