It's so often that I hear about families being ridiculed because the children have responsibilities. I love this article showing how important it is for kids to have responsibilities…and how fun and love can be abundant amidst the responsibilities of life!! I have a 2yr old and a 6month old. My two year old will crawl under the car with daddy and get him wrenches ext- he loves it. I never thought to involve him with the trash until he pleaded with me to do it. (Of course it is usually too heavy for him to do it on his own.) My son throws a tantrum when he can't help….which is far better than a child who throws tantrums when you ask them to help
