So no, I do not think thirteen is too young for this book. I have a 13 year old girl that spends time with me and my children. She is starting to talk about and have crushes on this boy or that one, depending on the week. It is just cute and harmless right now, but if she continues to go that way it could become more as she gets older. But if I am able through teaching her the Preparing book show her what is important and how she needs to be praying for her father and that God will direct her path, then maybe it will make a difference in her life. At this age girls are going to be thinking about boys, we cannot stop that. We can use that to direct them into, praying or learning something, Example – You need to learn to cook, for you will want to feed your man well someday - you must pray for your dad that he will have wisdom to help you find a good man to marry. Get their attention off the now and on the future. Anyway that’s just my thoughts on it.
