Oklahoma Disaster Relief (Other) (Other)
Soon after reports of the devastation in Oklahoma started coming in, local efforts began to go and help. A local Amish man, his sons, and several others started making their way to Oklahoma. They took some of their own equipment and are renting a skid steer and purchasing tarps. They will also incur travel costs. These men are prepared to cover their own expenses, but NGJ wants to offer you the opportunity to support these disaster relief efforts. These are the hardworking type of men you want on the ground to get the jobs done. All Disaster Relief designated funds will go to covering the expenses of the relief effort. MINISTRY GIFT - Prisons (Other) (Other)
Michael Pearl has preached and taught the Bible in prisons for 45 years. He has seen many men get saved and go on to become faithful men of God. NGJ has sent thousands of copies of the Good and Evil book to over 1,000 prisons in America. Chaplains have requested them by the case. Some prisons are receiving 100 books a month. We have heard testimony of many conversions. There are many more requests than we are able to meet. MINISTRY GIFT - Military (Other) (Other)
Each year, we mail out over 1,500 packages to the men and women serving in harm's way overseas, away from their families. We also send packages to their families left behind. We have received many letters of thanks from the men and women, and even their children. They get a box of our best selling materials and a King James Bible. All funds so designated goes straight to this military ministry.
