The county construction crew had this portable outhouse placed on the new bridge as they were building it. The old wooden one which had been there for a good 20 years and only had 2 iron beams covered with wood could only hold 10 tons. All the big semis delivering books to NGJ could not come across. They had to drop the books down the road at another local business.
Mel, the general manager at NGJ, is from PA, where you would never see such a sight. He remarked that only in Perry County would you see an outhouse on a bridge. We snapped a picture so he could send it to all his friends up North.
