Leaps and Bounds?

August 1, 2011

It may appear that NGJ moves forward in “leaps and bounds” but for every  announcement there are months or years of behind the scenes foundational work. This is why some months there may be two or three new Good and Evil translations in print and then none during the next few months. Whatever the scenario, be assured that we are working every day toward new translations, negotiating new agreements, producing new materials, expanding our network of partners or searching for ways to better reach our goal of “advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ in America and in those countries where Christ is least known.”

The Arabic is the perfect example. It took years to translate and then there was no one to distribute it. But Michael said, “Put the Arabic Good and Evil online on its own website for Arabic people to find,” and after several more months www.alkhairwasharr.com was online and being viewed hundreds of times by people in over a dozen countries in the first month online. This is not an isolated scenario but just an example of how what you read about today is the result of much labor.

You can keep up with the progress online or in the magazine and be a part of this progress through your purchases of NGJ materials or your sacrificial giving via Donations.
