Mike and Debi are excited be returning to the East Texas Mini Shindig in Texas, and they want to see YOU there!
Check out some of the pictures and videos from last year's East Texas Mini Shindig!
This (non-NGJ) “mini-shindig” seeks to fulfill the need for Christian homeschool families to have fellowship opportunities with other like-minded families by providing that fellowship in a fun, casual environment that is safe and family friendly. There will be great teaching, exciting games and activities, and plenty of opportunities to meet with old friends and make new ones!
Registration and full details for this event are at EastTexasMiniShindig.com
When: May 11-14
Where: Pineywoods Baptist Camp in Woodlake TX
My wife and I think it is wonderful to send Bibles to prisoners, but we wanted to know if there are guidelines that we are to follow when sending the Bibles. What we had in mind was to send a note with the Bibles to encourage the person. Also, are we allowed to encourage them to participate in Bible studies provided that does not include your own material? Is that allowed for us to do, or do we just send the Bible and that's all the contact we can have with them.
Thank you in the name of Jesus,
Dwight
Hi Dwight,
Thank you for your questions! There are some guidelines that we recommend when sending materials to prisoners. Please email Thea at: [email protected] and she will be happy to guide you in this!
