2022 Year End Donor Report

January 18, 2023

Men in Pakistan study a copy of Good and Evil in the Urdu language.

Good and Evil Missions

“Thank you so much for the comic book in Urdu [given] to my children.”

– Raheem, from a Muslim family in Pakistan

This past year we printed over 127,000 copies of the Good and Evil comic book Bible for evangelists and missionaries to distribute around the world—more than ever before. Many of these books will be read by dozens of people as they are passed around to family and friends. From Mexico to Pakistan, and Kenya to Ukraine, these books are changing lives.

Here’s a little more of what Raheem had to say:

“I took the book from my kid which was given by your team. First i thought it is just a cartoon character book but when i explore it, it has the wonderful stories which are from Koran, these are extracted nicely and illustrated nicely. wonderful. when i reached on the last pages which are elaborating about Hazrat Esa / Jesus, i was really amazed to know His miracles and death. Which i never heard from Koran or our Molvies, religious leaders. Now, I believed Jesus has the real powers and authorise like Allah/God.

Sir, I wanted to study more about Jesus. Could you please send me couple of copies of Urdu Bibles and some more helping books to understand Jesus and Christianity.
Thank you so much

Raheem

A local evangelist was able to respond to Raheem’s request for some copies of the Bible. And thousands more like Raheem were touched by this ministry this past year, which continues to grow. We’re already working on multiple printings for 2023, and in the past year we completed 15 new translations of Good and Evil, bringing the total number of languages it has been translated into to 78. We have about 2 dozen more translation projects in progress. While not all of these languages will be printed, 43 of them are already freely available on the Good and Evil app and the website, and we’re working to make the rest available in 2023.

iMissionaries

“I declare with all my heart and with pride that from now on my religion is Christianity.” –Farbod, from Iran

Our iMissionaries program also spreads the gospel through the Good and Evil comic Bible, but online rather than in printed form. We run ads all over the world through Google and Facebook, offering a free download of Good and Evil. In 2022 we set a new record as over 10 million people clicked our ads and read these words of life. 90% come from nations where following Jesus is illegal or met with hostility, and where spreading the gospel through traditional means is difficult and dangerous.

Below is Farbod’s full message, translated from Persian:

“Peace be upon you. I am a resident of Iran and when I was born I was named Muslim and Shia without my consent, but now with full study and knowledge I have come to the conclusion that the main and true religion of humanity is the religion of Jesus Christ and it is the only religion. which saves humanity from all sins and mires and I declare with all my heart and with pride that from now on my religion is Christianity and I ask you elders to guide me in this way so that I can learn more than what I have learned I will learn. Thank you

Lightbearers

“I am writing in reference to your book Good and Evil and the change God has made in my life since reading it. On 9-22-22 I was reborn in Christ.” –Randy, inmate at Duval County Jail

Our Lightbearer program also uses Good and Evil to spread the gospel, to inmates at jails and prisons throughout the United States. This past year we were able to give over 20,000 copies of the book to chaplains and other prison ministries at no charge. In addition, through our network of faithful “Lightbearers” who help us respond to the requests we receive directly from inmates, we sent out thousands more copies to individual prisoners. These books frequently get passed around the pod and read and re-read as broken lives are turned to God.
