Dreams Realized

October 8, 2010

Since this project started we have received numerous calls from many individuals requesting Good and Evil in other languages to be used in a ministry capacity. It has been frustrating not being able to supply these books.

Introducing print on demand (POD)

Now there is a new type of press. It is instant, producing a single copy run in only two hours. The sample printings we have received are better than the original printings. Prior to this we could only imagine honoring a request for two Lao copies, one Arabic copy, three Lithuanian copies, etc. Now we can immediately fulfill requests for the following languages: Zaiwa (Tsaiwa), Arabic, Thai, Lithuanian, Mongolian, Nepali, Wa, Burmese (Myanmar), S’gaw Karen, Hmong, Ukranian
By year end we should have the the rest of the languages available that have been translated. If you would like any of the above languages we can have them printed and shipped to you within two business days directly from the POD press. The cost for the black and white book is $24.95 plus shipping. If you order eight or more in any combination of languages, the cost will be reduced to $19.95 per book.

  1. We would love to see the French translation completed. Why? Because we are missionaries in French West Africa. Most people seem to not understand how important the French language is to evangelism. Do you know that there are more than sixty countries in the world that speak French? Do you know that the province of Quebec is one of the most unevangelized peoples of the world? Do you realize that a lot of the countries in the 10-40 window speak French? The French world is very secularized compared to the Spanish world and is in much greater need for evangelization. I wish I could win the lottery in order to help the Pearls complete the French version. When the French colonized West Africa, they made it possible to use one language to evangelize many people instead of hundreds of languages. Yes, the mother tongue is still the best, but French sure will do if the mother tongues are too numerous. I know that printing materials in Spanish pays better because there are more Spanish Christians to buy the materials, but I think there is a greater need for them in French.
