Each week I will post the chapter we are reading and word studies from the Bible for that week. Those of you who would like to study with us can comment and tell us what you are learning throughout the week. If you have a question or comment about something you read or studied then be sure to share it with us.
Be sure to keep it all under the Weekly Study’s post of the week so everyone can study together! If you start a group study in your home share it with us – tell what you are learning as the teacher and what the girls are learning.

Being a good help meet starts long before marriage. It is a mindset, a learned habit, a way of life established as a young unmarried girl—or at least that’s the way it should be. Nearly every wife will confess that the first year or two of married life was—how shall I say it—a frustrating learning experience.

I love this and can’t wait for the class to begin. I will order my book according to your dates on line. I have 13 and 14 year old daughters. Is that too young for the book? I belong to a homeschool co-op that has at least 10 other girls of those ages. Should I wait till they are older?

Oh, this is wonderful! I already have the book, but I’ll definitely be tuning in!
I am starting a preparing class with some 13-16 year olds the same week the online one starts, that way we can read along with others that are learning. So no, I do not think thirteen is too young for this book. I have a 13 year old girl that spends time with me and my children. She is starting to talk about and have crushes on this boy or that one, depending on the week. It is just cute and harmless right now, but if she continues to go that way it could become more as she gets older. But if I am able through teaching her the Preparing book show her what is important and how she needs to be praying for her father and that God will direct her path, then maybe it will make a difference in her life. At this age girls are going to be thinking about boys, we cannot stop that. We can use that to direct them into, praying or learning something, Example – You need to learn to cook, for you will want to feed your man well someday – you must pray for your dad that he will have wisdom to help you find a good man to marry. Get their attention off the now and on the future. Anyway that’s just my thoughts on it.
