Everytime i meet a really nice guy and we like each other, about 2 weeks after i wake up and i dont feel the same way at all.. Its like i go into feeling unattracted to him. Why does this happen ?

CJ, do you have any other help? This happens with me too and it’s gotten to the point that I’m afraid to start a relationship because I know I’ll just end up hurting another guy. It seems as though they invest themselves fully into me way too fast while my interest just dies seemingly overnight! I try to be resolved and work myself through it to stay with them, but it only gets worse to the point that I don’t want to even be around them anymore! Is this God telling me they aren’t the right one for me, or am I just crazy??
Maybe you could have a more casual relationship with these young men. Do you have other freinds, boys and girls? Would they be willing to “hang out” a few times before you decide to date. Ask their oppinions as to weather or not they feel you are compatable. Get a sibling involved or another close family member. A brother would be good. Don’t jump into a relationship that is usually a mistake. It is difficult, after I dated a few young men I wanted to drop out of the dating game altogether. Too many heartbreaks. But when I met my hubby the more conversations that we had the more I knew he was the one. I hadn’t even dated him yet and a close friend and my mother already knew he was the one, although they hadn’t met him yet. Don’t despare just change your approach.

Apparently God is showing you that these guys are not His best for you.
Something I made a habit of was praying that God would show me, my parents, my future husband, and his advisers that we were supposed to get married- IN GOD’S PERFECT TIMING. After a time, I prayed to God and told him, “I am going to assume that you are calling me to a life time of singleness. If You want me to get married, you are going to have to show me, by dropping a guy in m lap so obviously that I can’t miss it.” And then I tackled my current trials of helping my mother care for my father whose health is failing.
Maybe God is protecting you from wasted time and emotions over guys who are not His will. Put it in His hands, and see what he does.
His ways are ALWAYS best!
