How do treat a young man who is showing
A lot of interest in you with graciousness and
kindness while still maintaining the right amount
reservednes and cautiousness?
Both of us are several years away from the age
That we would be considering marriage and also
He doesn’t have the kind of character I would
Be looking for in a future husband anyway.
I have no interest whatsoever in him, yet I don’t
want to come across as snobbish or thinking
That he’s not good enough for me.
If possible can you please give some examples
Of interaction?

This is a tough situation. I wouldn’t say I’m in the same, but I’ve had similar experiences. I would recommend praying (though I’m sure you already have!) for God to help, and to help the young man. Perhaps, your father can help. If the boy does something out of line, forward, unrespectable or something that makes you uncomfortable, see if your father would be willing to speak to the boy (or his parents depending on his age).
And how to not appear snobbish? Well, I would recommend reading scriptures on being humble, especially when you know you will see him that day. If he is kind then accept the kindness, but don’t let him do anything unchaste or unrespectable. Don’t try to avoid him necessarily, but don’t talk or approach him unless you have to. I will be praying for you and your situation!
