NGJ Kids: Two Cups of Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. pineapple + 1 Tbsp. juice
  • 1 egg
  • dash of salt/vanilla
  • 3 clean coffee cups

Instructions

  1. NGJ Kids: Two Cups of CakeRub butter in 2 cups leaving 1 tsp. of butter in the bottom of each cup. Add 1 tsp. brown sugar to butter in each cup.
  2. NGJ Kids: Two Cups of CakeMash 2 Tbsp. of canned or fresh pineapple into small pieces, then add 1 Tbsp. to each butter and sugar mixture.
  3. NGJ Kids: Two Cups of CakeIn third cup mix 1 tsp. each of butter and brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. self-rising flour, egg, 1 Tbsp. pineapple juice and a dash of salt and vanilla; stir well.
  4. NGJ Kids: Two Cups of CakePour half of the mixed batter into each cup over the sugar/pineapple mixture. Do not stir together.
  5. NGJ Kids: Two Cups of CakePut both cups in microwave; cook for 3 minutes. It’s very hot—be careful taking it out! Turn upside down and enjoy. Share!
