The following are sample email correspondence between our office and project manager for non-English Good & Evil translations.
Have you heard anything about the Tagalog Good and Evil?
– XXXX
Hi guys,
Funny you should ask. I am awaiting a reply now from the printer as I sent the files to them last week. Once I have that approval I will contact you back about quantity. Of course since this is the national language, it can be used everywhere in the Philippines. A decision will need to be made about the quantity to print and how much of that gets sent to XXXX.
5,000 copies US$ 1.90/ copy
10,000 copies US$ 1.75/ copy
We have just completed Indonesian also. Immediate distribution possible there also. Both are national languages. I probably have $7,000-8,000 which can be used for one of these. Hopefully additional funds can be found available to go forward.

XXXX,
For cash flow purposes go with 5,000. We will check with XXXX for storage and distribution capabilities. How much will the Indonesian cost? I am on vacation until Monday.
– Mel
Mel,
Hope you are enjoying the holidays. Busy time for everyone.
We are within a week of the printing being finished on the Tagalog G&E. With shipping to XXXX, it will be $10,000 (est.). I have sent them the deposit of $5,000 and said earlier that we had around $7,000 available, out of which I sent the deposit. So we are going to be around $3.000 short.
FYI,

Mel,
I don’t know who is handling preparing files for POD printing now, but I am sending two links to you to forward which contain the full-res PDF’s for printing of the Tagalog and Bahasa Indonesian languages. These are the latest finished.
In fact, I also have a request for a copy of Bahasa Indonesian, which since not yet printed, would have to be done POD. How long does it take to get that ready? This is the translator and he wishes to have a copy on hand.
Anyway, I will forward these links to you as well as put links below. I am trying this rather than sending a disk. Hope it works.
I probably also need to compare a list of the current languages available on POD to make sure that we have all of the finished ones sent to you.
– XXXX
Mel,
I will pay this, in fact today. This will really put Indonesian on the back burner. Is there any prospective for funds in the near future specifically for printing? Probably of any language completed now, Indonesian is at the top of the list. (230 million) Fourth largest country in the world, and largest population of Muslims in any country in the world.

I am tutoring a Philippino woman who has recently moved here. She doesn’t have a bible in her native language & I would like to buy a Tagalog G&E for her. I don’t see where to order it? Could you please help me find it?
Thank you!
Shannon (been reading your magazine & books for 15 years now :0)
