Hi all 🙂 These past few weeks I have felt the Lord pressing on my heart to do Mission Work/Volunteering, etc. Could you please tell me of places that need volunteers, say for a few months? I would like it if it were a bit more on the Conservative side. For example, not a place where the volunteers/workers dress just as the world does, but where they dress modestly. ANY input is appreciated, so if you have any idea of where I could volunteer just answer 🙂 Thanks and God bless!

If you are looking for something more local than you could pretty much volunteer anywhere usually people don’t care that much what you look like as long as you are ready to help out and look decent 😀

Wow! I looked Unreached Villages up and read the story of the family who works with the Bolus. That story is amazing. What wonderful ministries are going on in India too! I have always been interested in mission work and love reading about how God is working in 3rd world countries! Where did you go on your mission trip?
El Arca Childrens home is an orphanage in Peru I interend their for 2 and a half months loved they became like a second family. They are always in need of volunteers.
Try looking into Child Evangelism Fellowship in your area. Some chapters are more conservative than others, but in my area I’ve found it to be a wonderful way to reach out to the children right around me with the gospel and a great discipleship ministry as well. They have after school Bible clubs that meet in public schools and camps and clubs during the summer as well.
Local places that need volunteers and counselors are Pregnancy Crisis centers. We volunteer once a week at one and I am training to be a counselor. It is a blessing to be able to help girls out with anything they need, from diapers to the Gospel message. I’m sure there’s one near you.
I went to an island that is at the southern tip of India, it is called Rameswarem!! It was really neat!

You´re a missionary wherever you are!
And people averywhere desperately need Jesus.
Hand out tracts, try to talk with people in the street, or wherever you go. Be faithful in the smallest things, and the Lord will give you more.
Then you may consider to come to Mexico. We need missionaries down here. And we are Conservative Christians 😉
